We are excited to offer a short-term contract opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This on-site position is located in the Squirrel Hill area and involves working in a high-volume invoicing environment. The role focuses on non-profit organizations and will support the transition from MIP Abila software to a new system. It's an excellent opportunity for someone with MIP Abila experience to contribute to a meaningful organization and play a key role in the software implementation process. The position requires on-site work five days a week, with flexibility in scheduling.


Responsibilities:

• Enter invoices accurately into MIP Abila system.

• Aid in the transition from MIP Abila to Emburse software, ensuring smooth process flow.

• Execute check runs and cut checks as per the company's financial schedule.

• Monitor and manage high-volume invoicing.

• Liaise with the Director of Finance for reporting and other duties.

• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Abila MIP, Check Runs, and High-Volume Invoicing to accomplish tasks.

• Ensure accuracy of all financial records.

• Handle customer inquiries related to accounts payable.

• Take appropriate action on customer accounts when necessary.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and management is mandatory
• Familiarity with Abila MIP software is required
• Experience with high-volume invoicing is essential
• Ability to conduct efficient check runs is necessary
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed
• Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite is expected
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion is essential
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are necessary
• Proven ability to work in a team environment is required
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred.
