Leave of Absence/HR Specialist

A leading organization in El Cajon, CA is seeking a Temporary Leave of Absence/HR Specialist to join their team. This role involves managing leave of absence cases, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing support to employees throughout their leave process. The specialist will also handle HR-related tasks, including employee relations and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and be able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage leave of absence cases, including FMLA, CFRA, and other state-specific leaves, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide support and guidance to employees throughout their leave process, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leave cases, including documentation and tracking of leave balances.
- Collaborate with HR and management to ensure smooth transitions for employees returning from leave.
- Handle HR-related tasks, including employee relations, benefits administration, and other duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in managing leave of absence cases and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, onsite
Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
