We are in search of an HR Generalist to join our team in the Healthcare. industry As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the onboarding process, coordinating resources with various departments, managing employee records, and providing necessary guidance on HR policies. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.


Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the onboarding process to ensure a welcoming and inclusive experience for new employees.

• Collaborate with various departments to manage resources and conduct new employee orientation sessions.

• Act as a liaison with hiring managers to develop and communicate training plans for new staff post-orientation.

• Work in partnership with talent acquisition and the Director of People and Culture to create a seamless transition for candidates from pre-employment to onboarding.

• Manage the completion of new employee paperwork and the development of personnel files in line with legal requirements.

• Oversee the company’s tuition reimbursement program, including promotion, tracking usage, and processing reimbursements.

• Identify and support employee development opportunities in collaboration with the HR team, managers, and external vendors.

• Maintain accurate employee records, including HRIS data and other HR documentation.

• Recommend improvements to the HRIS system (UltiPro) to enhance the employee experience.

• Respond to common queries from employees regarding HR policies, UltiPro, benefits, PTO, and refer complex questions to appropriate senior HR staff or management.

• Analyze HR trends and metrics in collaboration with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

• Develop work relationships with management and employees to boost morale, productivity, and retention.

• Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies as needed.

• Foster the company’s culture, Code of Conduct, and Mission, Vision, and Values.

  • Must be a highly organized and self-motivated individual able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Sound judgment and ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills along with demonstrated proficiency utilizing a variety of software packages including the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); ability to learn and become proficient in other computer programs.
