We are offering an exciting opportunity in Tucson, Arizona for an Inventory / Fixed Assets Accountant to join our client's team. In this role, you will be primarily engaged in overseeing inventory controls, procurement processes, and managing the life cycle of fixed assets:


Responsibilities:


• Oversee the management of inventory controls, including activities related to purchasing, receiving, and storing

• Ensure accuracy of inventory through regular auditing and maintenance of up-to-date records in the inventory system

• Handle the life cycle of fixed assets, from tracking capital expenditures to recording depreciation, and processing disposals in compliance with accounting regulations

• Oversee the procurement process, perform cost analysis, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and make purchase recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports related to inventory, purchasing, and fixed assets accounts, as well as fulfill any relevant accounting adjustments

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient and accurate reporting and record keeping


• Understanding of Capitalization

• Experience in Purchasing/Inventory Activities

• Expertise in Fixed Asset Accounting
