Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Final Assembler to join our team in Lewis Center. This is a 1st shift role, offering competitive pay. As a Final Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring electro-mechanical chassis and systems. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret assembly instructions and blueprints.

Responsibilities
  • Study, understand, and follow assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, job travelers, facility procedures, and parts list.
  • Position parts and subassemblies using templates or by reading measurements.
  • Report assembly, equipment, material, and/or quality problems to the Manager to obtain additional resources or direction.
  • Complete preventive maintenance per schedule/instructions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with PPE procedures, work rules, and regulations.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks or rotating through different processes/jobs as required or directed.
  • Operate per established company policies and procedures.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and assembly documents.
  • Mechanical aptitude; ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Prior electrical/electronic wiring Experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • PCB assembly and soldering experience.
  • Telecommunication work experience.
  • Strong work history with long tenures at places of employment.

Work Environment

This is a very clean and climate-controlled environment. The company values a positive working culture, so new employees need to be able to get along well with others. The work schedule is from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday-Thursday) and 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (Friday, with every other Friday off). Minimal overtime is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LEWIS CENTER, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
