Join Our Team as a Primary Packaging Technician

Are you ready to make a difference in the healthcare industry? We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team in Hayward, where we manufacture innovative products that help close wounds after surgeries.

Role Overview: As a Primary Packaging Technician, you will work in a state-of-the-art cleanroom environment, packaging life-saving products. This role requires full gowning, similar to a HAZMAT suit, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate packaging machinery in a cleanroom setting.
  • Rotate stations every 2 hours to maintain efficiency and reduce fatigue.
  • Perform stretches between rotations to stay energized.
  • Handle various production lines, filling syringes with gel (5MM and 10MM sizes).
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs., though lifting is less than 10% of the job.

Shift Details:

  • Mandatory Overtime: 10-16 hours/week.
  • First Day Orientation: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, then switch to the regular start time.

Gowning Requirements:

  • Full coverage of face, legs, pants, gloves, head, hair, beard, mustache, feet, shoes, torso, and upper body.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Top Skills: Cleanroom experience, packaging, gowning, manufacturing, assembly, quality control, repetitive lifting.
  • Nice to Have: Experience in a cleanroom or HAZMAT suit, medical device experience, or working in a regulated environment (lab, hospital, manufacturing, food, etc.).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00
