Job DescriptionA floor technician's job is to clean, maintain, and restore floors in a variety of settings. This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing floors. Additionally, you will be responsible for stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors, as well as removing stains, filling holes, and restoring natural stone. You will operate cleaning machines, maintain equipment and supplies, and report any malfunctions. Adherence to safety procedures and infection control standards is essential, as is promoting a culture of safety.
Responsibilities- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and shampoo floors.
- Strip, wax, buff, and polish floors.
- Remove stains, fill holes, and restore natural stone.
- Operate cleaning machines and maintain equipment and supplies.
- Report any equipment malfunctions.
- Follow safety procedures and adhere to infection control standards.
- Experience with floor waxing machines.
- At least one year of experience with wax cleaning machines.
- Janitorial experience within the past six months.
- Floor maintenance skills.
- Must have floor waxing experience.
- Must have used a waxing machine in the past.

Work EnvironmentThe shift is Monday through Friday, from 6pm to 2:30am. Candidates will be reporting to a supervisor and will be working on an ongoing project for waxing floors. The contract may be extended based on performance during the first few weeks.
