Perioperative Supply Technician

Position Overview:
Do you have supply chain and Medical Assistant experience? LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Perioperative Supply Technician who would ensures sterile supplies are delivered efficiently and safely to Perioperative Services Units such as the Operating Room, Sterile Processing, Recovery Room, and other areas. This role includes inventory management, stocking, and maintaining supply standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inventory, stock, and deliver sterile equipment and supplies to Perioperative Services Units.
Order supplies and process special requests (e.g., bill-only items).
Inspect supplies for damage, expiration dates, and accuracy.
Restock and inspect sterile trays, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
Keep accurate records of medical equipment and supply inventory.
Provide updates on supplies used in the Operating Room and Sterile Processing areas.
Track monthly expenditures and assist with budget reports.
Coordinate delivery and return of rented equipment with vendors.
Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Skills:
Knowledge of inventory and supply procedures.
Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic ordering systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Basic math and computer skills, including data entry.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
Experience in supply or central supply roles in a hospital or medical facility is preferred.
Shift Information:
Day Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday).

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.30 per hour
