Job Description

You will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems, including but not limited to 480 Vac, 120 Vac, and 24 Vdc. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings and diagrams, ensuring compliance with current NEC code, and performing all work according to electrical codes, blueprints, and standards. The successful candidate will troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, make timely repairs, and be skilled in installing rigid and EMT conduit and cable tray. An understanding of electrical meters and testing equipment is necessary.

The role requires working from heights in boom and scissors lifts and installing ethernet and fiber circuits. The ideal candidate should work well individually and as part of a team, communicate effectively with others, and contribute positively to working relationships within the organization. The role also involves compliance with environmental policies and procedures including energy efficiency, reduce-reuse-recycle goals, reporting requirements, and sustainable initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Install and repair electrical systems, including 480 Vac, 120 Vac, and 24 Vdc.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with current NEC code and perform all work according to electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and make timely repairs.
  • Install rigid and EMT conduit and cable tray.
  • Understand and use electrical meters and testing equipment.
  • Work from heights in boom and scissors lifts.
  • Install ethernet and fiber circuits.
  • Work well individually and as part of a team.

Essential Skills
  • 3-5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Experience with 480 volt systems.
  • PLC knowledge (programming not required).
  • Experience running conduit and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Mechanical and maintenance technician skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • License is preferred but not required.
Work Environment

The facility operates 24/7, with a dedicated team in charge of all PM and shutdown work. Maintenance technicians are on each shift, and you will join a team of about 30 people, which is growing this year with the facility's expansion. The standard shift is from 7 AM to 3 PM, but candidates will train on the day shift for a couple of months. If there are issues with this, accommodations can be made. The dress code includes jeans and steel-toed boots, with additional PPE such as hair nets and beard nets provided as necessary. Jewelry and piercings are not allowed in the facility due to GMP regulations. The environment typically maintains temperatures of 85+ degrees with 85% humidity in most areas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00
