Overview:

VocoVision connects you to a wide range of remote teaching opportunities across the U.S., offering both full-time and part-time positions. All roles are fully virtual, so you can work from home. Our caseloads include PreK through transitional ages, with roles available in resource settings, self-contained classrooms, and case management.

Position Details:

  • Part-Time (3-6 hrs per week)
  • 24/25 SY
  • IEP Goals, Progress Reports
  • Para onsite to facilitate
  • Caseload : 10-15 Students

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field is required, with a Masters degree preferred.
  • Candidates must hold a valid Special Education teaching certification from both their state of residency and the state of work's department of education.
  • Proven experience working with students with special needs is essential, ideally in a remote or virtual setting.
  • Strong proficiency with digital tools and teletherapy platforms, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is crucial.
  • The ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment is also required.

Requirements:

We require that all contractors obtain both general and professional liability insurance before starting their assignment. Additionally, all applicants need to be comfortable understanding that this role is strictly 1099, for independent contractors. Before an interview we require that all candidates complete and pass a tech screening testing out Wi-Fi and download speeds, along with general zoom capabilities.
