This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal field, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions. You will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including drafting and reviewing legal documents, performing legal research, and assisting with closings. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review various legal documents such as leases, contracts, and purchase agreements.
  • Perform legal research and due diligence to support transactions.
  • Assist with the closing process, including preparing closing documents and coordinating with all parties involved.
  • Utilize deed plotter software to prepare and review legal descriptions of properties.
  • Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other parties to gather information and resolve issues.
  • Maintain organized files and records of all transactions and legal documents.
  • Stay updated on current laws and regulations related to commercial real estate.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in the commercial real estate sector.
  • Proficiency in deed plotter software or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate law and legal terminology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent education preferred.
