Job Description
  • We are seeking a Laser Operator to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for the fabrication of industrial food equipment from start to finish.
  • This role includes nesting of parts, loading the towers, and monitoring cut conditions.
  • You will set up and operate lasers, analyze plans, drawings, layouts, and work orders to determine work requirements and the sequence of sheet metal assignments.
  • The ability to interpret shop drawings, sketches, layouts, and blueprints is essential.
  • Cross-training in other departments such as brake press, punch press, welding, grinding, and shipping/receiving is also part of the job.
  • You will independently work to produce complex sheet metal assemblies.
Work Environment
  • Our state-of-the-art sheet metal shop specializes in short to mid-range runs of 20-10,000 parts.
  • The shop is clean, spacious, and recently renovated. It features heating and air conditioning and stands out as the only Midwest manufacturer with an automated information and production system.
  • We carry out every aspect of the sheet metal fabrication process.
