Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
Start Date: Immediate
Caseload: To be discussed during the interview
Preferred: Candidates with recent school experience and relevant clearances

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students in life skills classrooms, both individually and in groups.
- Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and support instructional activities as guided by the special education teacher.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Help students with daily tasks such as personal care, communication, and mobility.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and behavior.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associates degree or higher in a relevant field is a plus.
- Experience working with special needs students, ideally in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students' academic and social development.
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Willingness to complete a background check and meet any additional school or district requirements.
