We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Leader to join our team and drive innovation in cloud-native technologies, network security, and infrastructure engineering. This is a high-impact role that combines leadership, strategic problem-solving, and hands-on technical expertise to lead complex initiatives across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of technologists, managing and solving complex technical challenges across the organization.
Design, implement, and iterate on cloud-native technologies and virtualization solutions for public and private cloud environments.
Apply expertise in network security (VNFs, CNFs, CNIs such as Cilium, OVH, Calico) to architect secure, scalable systems.
Utilize Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible) for automation and infrastructure management.
Provide leadership in Software Defined Networks (SDN), Micro and Macro Segmentation/Zero Trust, and secure coding practices.
Lead the development of secure, high-quality prototype and production code while ensuring best practices for AppSec, threat modeling, penetration testing, and third-party cyber security controls.
Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to design and implement technology patterns that resolve issues and modernize systems.

Key Qualifications:
10+ years of applied experience in infrastructure and cloud engineering, with 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage complex technical challenges.
Formal training or certification in coding practices, automation testing, programming languages (Python, Java, etc.), and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible).
Deep understanding of network security concepts, including VNFs, CNFs, CNIs, SASE, Zero Trust, micro segmentation, and related technologies.
Practical experience with cloud-native technologies and the ability to operate across public and private cloud environments.
Experience with secure coding, AppSec, threat modeling, penetration testing, and other cyber security practices.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior technology leaders and cross-functional teams.
Ability to independently tackle design and functionality problems with little to no oversight.
Experience in network engineering, with knowledge of underlay and overlay topologies at scale, and familiarity with Policy as Code frameworks (e.g., OPA, Kyverno).
Bonus: Familiarity with Reliability Engineering practices and patterns.
Bonus: Experience working in a regulated firm and rapid-paced startup-style environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud infrastructure and private cloud applications.
Reliability Engineering practices and patterns.
Certification or formal training in software engineering or infrastructure engineering concepts.
Passion for mentoring and fostering a culture of continuous learning, diversity, equity, and inclusion within your team.
