School Psychologist - Full Time (3 Positions Available)

Location: Middlefield, CT
Position Type: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 13, 2025
Work Location: Onsite

Job Summary:
We are currently hiring School Psychologists to join our team. We have 3 positions available for full-time roles working onsite with elementary students. Each psychologist will have a caseload of 20-40 students and will provide a range of psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and consultation, to support the emotional and academic development of students. The positions are available immediately and run through June 13, 2025.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Active state licensure as a School Psychologist in Connecticut.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in a school setting, is preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments for students in elementary grades.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students mental health and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions and accommodations.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed and help develop behavioral plans for students.
  • Offer consultation and training to school staff regarding student mental health, behavior management, and academic support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports for assessments, counseling sessions, and student progress.
