We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Elementary Life Skills Special Education Teacher for a full-time position near Bulverde,Texas. The ideal candidate will be licensed and experienced in working with students with diverse learning needs, focusing on life skills education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs and goals.
  • Create a structured and supportive classroom environment that fosters growth in life skills, social skills, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with support staff, paraprofessionals, and other teachers to provide comprehensive support for each student.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school administration regarding student progress and any necessary adjustments.
  • Use various teaching strategies to meet students' unique needs, including hands-on activities and adaptive techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas teaching license with a certification in Special Education.
  • Previous experience in a life skills or special education classroom setting is preferred.
  • Strong commitment to inclusive education and supporting students with unique challenges.

20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
