Are you committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed?ProCare Therapy is actively looking for an experienced and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join one of our trusted school districts located in the quaint community of Paterson, New Jersey.As Special Education Teacher in Paterson,you will provide specialized instruction and support to students with significant cognitive, physical, or emotional disabilities. You will develop individualized education programs (IEPs), deliver adaptive curriculum, and work closely with a team of specialists and support staff to ensure students reach their fullest potential.

Job Description
- Full time
- M-F
- 37.5-40 hours per week
- Elementary caseload, K-6 (must have coordinating certifications)
- More details to be discussed upon interview
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or higher
- Active State Teaching License
- Active State Certification, K-6
- Severe experience highlighted on resume
- Able to develop and implement IEPs while coordinating with internal departments
- Experience working with students with multiple disabilities
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
Interview Process
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
- 30 mins-1 hrvirtual/in-person interview with school district
- Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview
As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
