Medical Assistant Back Office

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant for our back office in a primary care setting. This role involves working closely with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care. Clinic is in Santa Clarita and making $22-$23/hr.
Responsibilities- Check patient vitals and record them accurately.
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits.
- Assist with patient intake and collect necessary medical information.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address their questions.
- Utilize medical terminology appropriately in all communications.
- Support healthcare providers with various medical tasks.
- Proficiency in checking vitals and prepping rooms.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Experience in patient care and customer service.
- Effective communication skills.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
This is a fast-paced work environment where you will be floating between departments. Self-sufficiency, determination, and proactivity are essential for success in this role. There is significant room for growth, as many of our managers started as Medical Assistants and advanced within the organization.
