Job DescriptionJob Description

Practice Setting:


  • Inpatient hospital coverage in Maryland
  • Focus on general cardiology with support from an APP

Schedule:


  • Ongoing assignment with 5 days per month
  • Hospital: 7 AM - 3 PM; Call: 3:30 PM - 8 PM
  • Specific coverage dates include January 6-10 and March 10-14, 2025

Procedures and Cases:


  • Perform and provide TEE coverage, read EKGs, and TTE studies
  • Average admissions during on-call: 2
  • Daily tasks include new patient consults and TEE procedures

Requirements:


  • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Cardiology
  • Certifications: ACLS and BLS
  • Maryland state license or Interstate Medical License considered
  • 24 months of experience preferred

Credentialing Requirements:


  • Credentialing timeframe of 60 days

Travel Accommodations:


  • Travel expenses covered, including mileage, airfare, lodging, and ground transportation
