A strategic communications agency in Manhattan that partners with clients across many industries to creative data driven messaging. As a Vice President, this role will work with agency teams to manage market research, develop creative and strategic messaging, and act as a consultant with clients.

*Pharmaceutical client experience is required

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral based, qualitative research to understand the industry and targeted audiences
  • Consult clients based on research, advise on appropriate language use depending on the audience and topic
  • Foster existing and new client relationships through leading strategy discussions
  • Take part in the RFP process from strategy through presentation
  • Direct cross-functional teams with 6-8 direct reports, manage budgets of projects with global companies
  • Work closely with agency leadership to manage projects through RFP, message development, and advisory strategy; identify ideas that deserve agency investment and how to make them possible

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience working as a strategist, consultant, or researcher
  • Experience within the Life Sciences industry, must have knowledge of regulatory guidelines
  • Strong background and passion for writing and word choice
  • Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research
  • Worked with a client as an advisor, using critical thinking skills to offer guidance and compelling insights
