Job Description:We are seeking a passionate and experienced School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team near Grandwood Park, ILfor the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to student success. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students,promoting progress and achievement.
  • Collaborate with school-based teams, including teachers, parents, and administrators, to support student success and facilitate communication goals.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disordersfrom an accredited program.
  • Valid Illinoislicense in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with teletherapy platforms.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and effectively engage them in virtual therapy sessions.
