Job Opportunity: Behavior Technician/Behavior Aide

Location: Chimayo, NMArea

Pay Scale: $20-27 per Hour

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavior Technician/Behavior Aideto join our team in the Chimayo, NM area. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring experience with students on the autism spectrum. We offer full benefits, weekly pay, and guaranteed hours with this role. Position Details:

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans according to district's needs
  • Collect and record data on student behavior
  • Assist in developing and modifying instructional materials
  • Support students in developing social skills and coping mechanisms
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress


Requirements:

  • Current Level III Educational Assistance license
  • Associate's degree from an accredited university/degree program preferred
  • CPI Training preferred
  • Experience with students who have special needs required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and therapists
  • Must be comfortable providing toileting assistance as needed
