Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturer in Peabody who is looking for qualified Mechanical Assemblers on both 1st and 2nd shift These are temp to perm opportunities.

Pay rate: $23-27 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related field

  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings

  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments in an assembly environment

  • Familiarity with quality control procedures, including inspecting and testing assembled components

  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds as required by the job

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and precision

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to manufacturing and assembly processes

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
  • As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and subassemblies to precise specifications

  • You will work closely with the production and engineering teams, ensuring that all products are built to the highest standards of quality and performance

  • If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, enjoy working with your hands, and have a keen attention to detail, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our production team

  • Assemble mechanical components and systems according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions

  • Use hand and power tools to perform assembly tasks such as fastening, aligning, and fitting parts together

  • Inspect and test components to ensure they meet specifications and function as intended

  • Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

  • Collaborate with the engineering and quality control teams to identify and resolve assembly issues

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including the care and maintenance of tools and equipment

  • Keep accurate records of work performed, including any adjustments or modifications to parts or assemblies

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline assembly processes and enhance productivity

Pay Details: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour
