Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a proactive and organized Project Coordinator on behalf of our client, a dynamic and growing organization

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to support key project planning, tracking, and reporting processes, helping to ensure projects stay on time and meet company objectives. This role will be essential in coordinating and streamlining project activities across teams, making a significant impact on the overall project lifecycle and team success.

This is a full-time, direct hire position based in Portland, OR.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Project Coordination: Support project planning, scheduling meetings, and tracking project progress to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Tool Management: Maintain up-to-date project statuses using tools such as Jira or Asana, facilitating effective cross-team collaboration.
  • Communication: Act as a key liaison across departments using tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams to share updates and address inquiries promptly.
  • Documentation: Prepare and organize project reports, tracking data, and other relevant documents in Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides).
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify project challenges and work with team members to address and resolve issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Bring a collaborative spirit and willingness to offer constructive feedback to support positive team dynamics.
What You Will Need:
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination or a related role
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana)
  • Familiarity with basic web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
