What you’ll bring to the table:
A solid foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Real-world experience: 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, including:
Single Audits/federal awards audits/SEFA
Financial Management System implementation
Budget development and management
Payroll and accounts payable
Revenue recognition
A knack for numbers: Community Foundation and Fund accounting experience is a plus.
Tech-savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
A collaborative spirit: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A problem-solver: Anticipates needs, meets deadlines, and juggles multiple priorities.
A keen eye for detail: Strong organizational and time management skills.
A strong communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A go-getter: Eager to take on challenges and deliver results.
Your previous experience should include:
A133 federal grant audits
Public accounting
System implementation
Financial statement reporting
Operating budget variance analysis
990 filings
Payroll and AP management
