Position Summary:
ProCare Therapy is hiring a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, K-12 position in Crestwood, IL. The BCBA will play a key role in providing consultation, support, and training to classroom and related service staff on structuring the classroom environment, behavior management, and supporting students with special needs using ABA, VBI, and PECS strategies.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide consultation and training to educators and staff on classroom management strategies, ABA, VBI, and other behavior interventions.
- Develop and implement individual behavior management plans, social skills groups, and sensory group activities.
- Collaborate with teachers to track and analyze data on student progress, adjusting plans as needed.
- Assist with implementing picture exchange strategies (PECS) and other evidence-based teaching methods.
- Support staff in the ongoing development of structured tasks and the implementation of behavior management strategies in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active BCBA certification and Illinois State certification.
- PEL (Professional Educator License) required.
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in behavior analysis settings is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
