Academic Intervention Specialist - New Cumberland, PA

Position: Academic Intervention Specialist
Location: New Cumberland, PA
Duration: Full-Time, ASAP End of School Year

Blazer Jobs is looking for an Academic Intervention Specialist in New Cumberland, PA. You will work with students requiring individualized academic support, providing interventions tailored to their specific learning needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
  • Provide academic support in collaboration with classroom teachers
  • Communicate regularly with parents and staff regarding student progress
  • Track and document the effectiveness of interventions

Requirements:

  • Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education
  • Bachelors degree in Education or related field
  • At least one year of experience preferred
  • Familiarity with state and federal special education laws
