Specialties Operator

In this role, you will be working in the Specialties area where two types of mixes are created: a powder substance and a wet mixture substance. Large super sacs will be filled with these substances are then shipped to other buildings on-site.
Responsibilities- Operate machinery with setup and basic troubleshooting - not just button pushing
- Set up machinery and adjust dials as necessary
- Use a computer interface for basic Excel functions like high/low values, special tests, and keying input numbers
- Maintain a clean work area
- Utilize a forklift to retrieve material or move pallets/sacs
- Lift and move material up to 75 pounds
- Previous machine operating experience
- Ability to use a computer interface and familiarity with Excel for basic functions
- Sit-down forklift experience
- Basic math skills
- Mechanical aptitude for inspection and troubleshooting
- Awareness around safety
- Forklift certification
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Physical fitness for lifting and moving materials
The pay range for this position is $24.56 - $24.56
