Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in the bustling city of Gainesville, Georgia. The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in the administration of our HR operations, including maintaining and updating employee records, coordinating HR projects, and providing clerical support to the HR department. This role is vital in ensuring efficient operations within the HR function of our company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily operations of HR duties and functions
• Provide administrative support to Human Resources executives
• Update and maintain both hard and soft copies of employee records
• Prepare reports relating to personnel activities and process documentation
• Coordinate HR projects such as meetings, training programs, and surveys
• Conduct periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Provide clerical support to the HR department as needed
• Assist in planning and executing special events like benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations
• Handle other duties as assigned by the HR department.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Competency in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with HRMS and Ceridian
• Familiarity with About Time software
• Ability to perform Auditing tasks in HR context
• Experience in conducting Background Checks
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions in HR
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Ability to collaborate with different teams and departments
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
• Professional certification in Human Resources is a plus.
