Job Description

Schedule: Day Shift Mon - Friday 6am - 2:30pm

Will be running a manual vertical milling machine in a machine shop environment. This is a production environment with a small crew of about 25 people. Seeking someone who can be given a blueprint or shop drawings and set up/run their own jobs.

Qualifications

- Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding.

- Maintain equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Perform basic PM's and shop cleaning related to your area.

- Must be able to follow instructions on established processes and procedures.

- Ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.

- Ability to perform basic shop math and calculate measurements correctly.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

- Previous experience in a machine shop running a vertical manual mill.
