Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are now hiring for Electrical Panel Builder for a special project for a manufacturing company in San Marcos, TX. These positions are starting ASAP. Please submit your resume to this posting and call our office at 830-629-2525.
Pay: $17/hrSchedule: Monday-Friday 5:00am-3:00pm Project Bonus The working hours requirement to complete the project = 300 hours
PLEASE NOTE: this is a temporary position working on a project expected to last from 12/9/24 - 1/31/25. There is an opportunity for a one-time bonus of $1,300 (subject to taxes) for each worker on this project. Company will pay the temporary worker a one-time project bonus, MUST meet the working conditions below:
  1. Must work the entire project timeline (Dec 9, 2024, until January 31, 2024).
  2. Must work at least 300 hours entire project.
  3. Must have perfect attendance. (We are NOT able to approve time off during the project; Please note that emergencies will not be accepted as a valid reason for an excused absence.)
  4. Project Bonus is anticipated to be paid upon project completion only.
  5. Project Bonus will be paid by the staffing agency with authorization from company's management team.
  6. Project Bonus is only available for this specific project only.

The Electrical Panel Builder will layout and assemble control panels for pressure vessels to meet customer specifications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned.
  • Any or all “General Laborer” duties as required, reading, interpreting basic electrical symbols, electrical procedures, set up, and operation of electrical equipment.
  • Reading and comprehending blueprints. Must be able to read a tape measure to 32nd of an inch, add/subtract fractions, size, and layout control panels.
  • Operating any basic hand tools such as hole punch, basic wiring tools, drill, jig saw, and grinder.
  • Wiring Boxes
  • Pulling Wires
  • Layout Boxes
  • Wiring Panels
  • Color Coding
  • General cleanliness of the work area
  • Must be willing to work overtime and adjust schedules.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, schematic diagram, drawing, or schedule form.
  • Identify electrical/wiring symbols.
  • Ability to transfer information from drawings/wiring schematics to the project.
  • Incorporate any design changes into the project.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, or hear, and be able to tolerate repetitive motion during the full course of a scheduled shift.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move more than fifty (50) pounds.
  • Able to physically multitask.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • This position regularly works in a typical warehouse environment, including being near moving mechanical parts.
  • Most of the time, the Electrical Panel Builder will spend time in the plant with low to moderate exposure to noise, heat, and cold environments.
  • Steel-toe shoes, earplugs, and safety glasses are always required while on the production floor.
