Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be tasked with various responsibilities related to international shipping, invoicing, and account maintenance.Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit memos and sales invoices for containers delivered from factories.
• Ensure the accurate and efficient processing and tracking of customer credit applications.
• Maintain precise records of customer credit and update them as necessary.
• Handle the review and accuracy check of ocean freight invoices before routing them to Accounts Payable for payment.
• Oversee the printing, tracking, and filing of ISFs 10 + 2 US Customs entries for international shipping.
• Responsible for calculating and applying landed costs for each container during the processing of goods receipt.
• Take charge of the receipt process of goods upon notification of delivery.
• Conduct research and provide audit support related to all container transactions.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
• Ensure accurate data entry and data verification.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.• Proven experience in Account Reconciliation is mandatory
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Must have skills in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• A strong understanding and experience in Billing is essential
• Data Entry skills are necessary for this role
• Must be proficient in Invoice Processing
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience with Oracle is a plus
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is essential
• SAP knowledge will be highly valued
• Experience in Logistics is preferred
• Understanding of Bills of Lading is beneficial
• Excellent Communication skills are essential
