We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Part Time (30 hours per week) Payroll Specialist in the non-profit industry, based in Sanford, Maine. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll functions, utilizing ADP Workforce Now, and ensuring accurate processing and auditing.


Responsibilities:


• Manage and process bi-weekly payroll for a diverse workforce

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now and other accounting software systems to ensure efficient payroll processing

• Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate payroll records

• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner

• Prepare and submit reports on payroll activities

• Handle journal entries and weekly deposits associated with payroll

• Maintain a detail oriented and positive rapport with the team.

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledgeable in using ADP Workforce Now
• Capable of handling various Accounting Functions
• Skilled in Auditing
• Able to Process Bi-weekly Payroll
