Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to execute treatment plans and interventions aimed at addressing speech, language, and munication goals.
Support in conducting assessments and evaluations to acquire pertinent information about students' speech and language capabilities.
Administer individual or group therapy sessions to students under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Implement diverse therapeutic techniques and exercises to enhance speech production, articulation, language prehension, and expressive language skills.
Assist students in developing and refining social munication skills.
Educate students and their families on strategies and techniques to enhance munication beyond therapy sessions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in munication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized certifying organization.
Previous experience working with individuals with munication disorders is preferred.
Exceptional verbal and written munication skills.
