Job Description

The Quality Tech is responsible for walking the production lines and ensuring that products are within the proper temperature ranges. This role involves checking for errors and mistakes, assisting in production, and maintaining flexibility to learn new tasks. Attention to detail is crucial for keeping track of orders and ensuring they are audited correctly. The position may require lifting up to 40 lbs throughout the day and documenting orders and observations. The Quality Tech will work closely with line leads to ensure practices are being followed and will audit the floor for safety issues.

Responsibilities
  • Walk the production lines to ensure product temperatures are within proper ranges.
  • Check for errors and mistakes in production.
  • Assist in production as needed and remain flexible to learn new tasks.
  • Keep track of orders and ensure they are audited accurately.
  • Lift up to 40 lbs throughout the course of the day.
  • Document orders and observations meticulously.
  • Work with line leads to ensure proper practices are followed.
  • Audit the production floor for safety issues.

Work Environment

This role is based in a food production environment that is air-conditioned. Employees must wear a hair net, lab coat, and beard guard if applicable, and masks are required for all positions. Most production line workers will work in cooler environments and must be able to stand for the entire shift.
