Your Role:
As a ProCare Audiologist, you'll be at the forefront of supporting students' auditory needs within a school setting. Your expertise will be pivotal in creating an environment that ensures every student has access to optimal hearing health, paving the way for their academic success.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct thorough audiological assessments for students.
- Provide recommendations for hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and other interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and fellow professionals to develop and implement individualized plans for students with hearing-related challenges.
- Perform screenings and monitor students' hearing health throughout the school year.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering valuable insights into students' auditory needs.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation of assessments and interventions.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology, integrating best practices into your work.
Your Profile:
- Hold a doctoral degree in Audiology.
- Possess state licensure as an Audiologist.
- While previous experience in a school or educational setting is preferred, it's not mandatory.
- Excel in communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thrive in collaborative environments, working effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Bring a compassionate and dedicated approach to improving students' auditory well-being.
