A distribution company committed to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of safety is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Transportation to oversee and optimize our transportation operations. The manager will implement strategies to minimize delivery mistakes, delays or damage, ensure strict adherence to all DOT and FMCSA regulations, including hours-of-service (HOS) rules, drug and alcohol testing, and vehicle maintenance standards. Unfortunately, 3PLs cannot be considered

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in transportation management, preferably in the distribution industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
  • Proven demonstrable optimizing delivery routes, reducing fuel use, and improving delivery times
  • Strong history of developing drivers through ongoing training and developmental programs.
  • Proficiency in transportation management software and systems.
