Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote per week)

About the Role:
Are you looking to jumpstart your career in finance? We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Financial Analyst to join our team located in Newark, DE. This role provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, analysis, and planning while supporting critical decision-making processes within the organization.

As a Junior Financial Analyst, you’ll work closely with senior analysts and managers, contributing to projects that shape the financial health and strategic direction of the company.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Required).

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (including VLOOKUPs) and other financial tools.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to analyze data and ensure accuracy.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to present findings and insights clearly to stakeholders.

  • Team Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally to support various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support business strategies and initiatives.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

  • Analyze financial performance and trends to identify areas for improvement.

  • Prepare presentations and reports for management and stakeholders.

  • Assist with financial audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Research industry trends and competitors to provide actionable insights.

  • Maintain and update financial databases and systems for accuracy and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support projects.

  • Provide ad hoc support to senior financial analysts and managers as needed.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with financial databases, modeling techniques, and reporting tools.

  • Exposure to industry trends and competitive analysis.

  • Understanding of substation line-of-business financial operations is a plus.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
