Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery and checking quality of products.

Responsibilities
  • Machine setup and operation:
  • Prepare machines for production by following established procedures, including loading raw materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment.
  • Quality control:
  • Regularly inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying and reporting any defects.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting:
  • Observe machine performance, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot minor malfunctions.
  • Maintenance:
  • Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of machinery, as well as basic maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Data recording:
  • Maintain production logs and records, documenting machine performance and output.
  • Safety compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 40 lbs sometimes
  • Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel
  • Must be able to reach with hands and arms
  • Must have depth perception, color vision, close vision, and peripheral vision

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
