Growing not-for-profit seeks an AP Clerk who is looking to grow within the organization. The responsibilities for this role will consist of matching/batching/coding invoices, verifying and updating vendor accounts, data entry, processing general ledger reconciliations, assisting with bookkeeping activities, analyzing accounts payable transactions for accuracy, preparing documents for audits, and resolving accounts payable discrepancies. Ideally, we are seeking an individual who can perform day to day financial transactions utilizing their knowledge of best practices in accounting and bookkeeping.


How you will make an impact

·      Analyze, review, and process invoices

·      Code general ledger activities

·      Ensure compliance with all AP activities

·      Prepare financial reports

·      Assist with general accounting transactions

·      Review and process expense reports

·      Vendor Maintenance/Relations

·      Account Reconciliation

·      Investigate and resolve A/P discrepancies

The ideal AP Clerk will preferably have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.


Other requirements for the AP Clerk role include and are not limited to:

·      2+ years of A/P processing experience (accounting/bookkeeping a big plus)

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel

·      Blackbaud expertise a plus

·      Organized with a high level of attention to detail
