Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in the bustling city of Melville, New York. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be a crucial part of our service industry team, responsible for managing customer-related tasks, maintaining accurate client records, and providing top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process and handle insurance claims paperwork
• Accurately maintain and update customer records in the automated underwriting system
• Complete certificate of insurance and OSHA forms in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with clients over the phone for insurance submission purposes
• Collaborate with the underwriting portal/company to ensure smooth operations
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word while performing administrative tasks
• Learn quickly and follow directions accurately in a fast-paced work environment
• Assist with submission of claims and other paperwork, ensuring accuracy in data entry.• At least 1 year of experience in an Administrative Assistant role or similar
• Proficiency in Automated Underwriting System
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Experience with Insurance Claims management
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in using office software like Office Suite, Excel and PowerPoint
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education degree preferred
