Pharmacy Technician

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with long-term care experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the preparation and dispensing of medications for long-term care facilities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and patient safety.
Shift: M -F, 8am - 7pm, rotating weekends, 8 hour shift in this time range. 1 hour lunch.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and dispense medications for long-term care patients.
Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
Maintain detailed records and documentation of prescriptions and medication orders.
Assist in managing medication inventory and order processing.
Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
PTCB Certified (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of long-term care pharmacy experience.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with pharmacy software and inventory systems.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
