Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH Solutions is a leading HR Solutions firm based in Chicago, Illinois, and we are currently seeking to hire a seasoned Accounts Payable Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join the team in Oakbrook. This is an on-site role requiring strong Excel skills, with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid role after training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.

  • Maintain vendor relationships and handle inquiries related to accounts payable.

  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.

  • Monitor and manage the AP aging report, ensuring timely payments.

  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour
