Our organization is looking for a dynamic and experienced Audit Senior to join our Finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in auditing financial statements and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Responsibilities:
The Audit Senior will be responsible for:
1. Leading, planning, and executing a variety of financial statement audits in accordance with GAAP.
2. Evaluating internal control systems and suggesting improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
3. Preparing and presenting audit findings to senior management, highlighting areas of risk and proposing practical solutions.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
5. Keeping abreast of latest developments in auditing standards and financial regulations.
6. Providing guidance and mentorship to junior audit staff, fostering a supportive and challenging work environment.
7. Assisting in the creation of annual audit plans and risk assessments.
8. Managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (such as CPA, CIA, or CISA) is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of three years' experience in a senior audit role, preferably within the finance industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify potential risks.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
6. Proficiency in using audit software and other financial systems.
7. A proven track record of managing and completing projects on time and within budget.
8. A high level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality.
