We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Mailroom Assistant in Albany, New York. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of office functions related to mail receipt and forwarding. Your primary responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including mail runs, maintaining organization, and ensuring dependable communication within the office.


Responsibilities:

• Ensuring timely and accurate receipt and forwarding of mail, with no requirement to open mail

• Conducting regular mail runs to local post office and FedEx office

• Maintaining a high level of organization within the office

• Utilizing strong communication skills to effectively interact with other office personnel

• Utilizing data entry skills to maintain accurate records and documentation

• Reviewing and updating spreadsheets and procedures as necessary

• Performing office functions such as photocopying and scanning documents

• Demonstrating dependability in the office environment, working effectively with one other person


• Have proficient data entry skills to accurately input and update information in the company database.

• Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information to team members and other departments.

• Understand the importance of proper documentation and record-keeping for smooth operations.

• Be familiar with basic office functions, including mail distribution, file management, and office equipment operation.

• Have the ability to review and cross-check information for accuracy and consistency.

• Understand and follow company procedures and protocols to ensure compliance.

• Drivers license required
