Job Title: Procurement Manager/Sr Manager (Non-Trading)

Summary:

The Procurement Manager/Senior Manager will oversee and manage non-trading procurement activities for HQ and retail stores, focusing on store and office supplies and services. The role involves developing strategic procurement plans, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of quality products as well as optimizing inventory management. The Procurement Manager/Senior Manager will collaborate with various internal departments to support operational goals, streamline procurement processes, and enhance supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement of non-trading goods and services for HQ and retail stores, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and timely delivery.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's operational and financial objectives.

• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to the highest standards of integrity and compliance with ethical practices and company policies.

• Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality, cost, and delivery standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations, IT, and Finance, to forecast procurement needs and develop category-specific purchasing plans.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in all procurement activities.

• Drive process improvements, including implementing procurement software and tools to streamline purchasing, reporting, and inventory management.

• Prepare and manage procurement budgets, providing regular reports on cost savings, procurement performance, and vendor issues to senior leadership.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolving any disputes or issues effectively and promptly.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals, ensuring timely project delivery and fostering a collaborative work environment.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree or CPSM certification preferred).

• 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

• Proven track record of maintaining ethical procurement practices and fostering a culture of high integrity within supply chain operations.

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is preferred.

• Strong experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and supplier performance evaluation, focusing on non-perishable goods and services.

• Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on cost optimization.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in retail or multi-location procurement is preferred.

• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• This job may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 25 pounds, and performing repetitive motions.
