We are currently seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work one-on-one with a female 3rd-grade student.
Position Overview:
As a School-Based LPN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our student. You will be responsible for delivering personalized nursing care tailored to the specific needs of the student, collaborating closely with teachers and parents to support her overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized nursing care to the assigned 3rd-grade student, including administering medications, managing medical devices, and assisting with daily activities.
- Monitor the student's health status and respond to any medical needs or emergencies promptly.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to develop and implement a health care plan that aligns with the students educational goals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of care provided, including health assessments and medication administration records.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding the students health status and any necessary interventions.
- Promote a safe and healthy school environment by adhering to school policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education:Completion of an accredited LPN program.
- Licensure:Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in WA.
- Experience:Previous experience working with children, particularly in a school setting, is preferred but not required.
- Skills:Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
