We're excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive educational team near Seaford, DE for the full academic year. Specializing in elementary caseloads, this role is ideal for a passionate OT eager to support students development and educational engagement.

Position Highlights:

  • Role: Occupational Therapist (OT) School-based
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, school hours
  • Caseload: Elementary grades, supporting a range of developmental and learning needs
  • Assignment Length: Whole school year, with opportunity to extend
Responsibilities:
  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary students
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into students' educational plans
  • Provide direct therapy services focusing on enhancing students' motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive abilities
  • Document progress and adjust therapy plans in accordance with students' evolving needs
Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Active Delaware Occupational Therapy license
  • Experience: Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred, but not required
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, collaboration, and adaptability within a school environment
