We are in search of a Recertification Specialist to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, specifically within the context of Section 8 and Apartment Communities. The role is based in HAMBURG, New York, and offers a short term contract employment opportunity of approximately 3-4 weeks.
Responsibilities:
• Manage administrative tasks related to Section 8 residential housing community
• Handle recertification processes for senior and/or mobility impaired residents
• Maintain and update records of all residents in the apartment community
• Attend to inquiries from residents, providing timely and accurate responses
• Monitor resident accounts and take necessary action based on their status
• Assure accurate and efficient processing of all required administrative documents
• Utilize administrative assistance skills to ensure smooth operations within the community
• Candidate should possess significant experience in Administrative Assistance, demonstrating skills in coordinating, organizing, and managing tasks efficiently.• A deep understanding and knowledge of Section 8 housing regulations and requirements is necessary for the role of Recertification Specialist.
• Prior experience working with Apartment Communities is highly desirable, indicating familiarity with the nuances and demands of such environments.
• The ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, demonstrating excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with tenants, property management, and government agencies.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling paperwork and data entry related to recertification processes.
• Proficiency in using property management software and other relevant computer applications is essential.
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service to tenants during the recertification process.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex housing regulations and guidelines in real-world scenarios.
• A proactive problem-solver who can identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
