Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTRC Talent is looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our healthcare client in Stockbridge, GA JOB SUMMARY:Functions under the direction of the Supply Chain Supervisor or Manager.  Responsible for daily supply assessment and replenishment of supplies for nursing and procedural units. Responsible for the storage and distribution of supplies for a perpetual inventory or PAR allocation.  Shift: 7:00am-4:00pm
Location: Stockbridge 30281 ROLE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, ROLES, AND FUNCTIONS: 
  • Inventory Management - 35%
    • Performs daily supply assessment and replenishment of supplies for nursing and procedural units.
    • Check stock status/back orders of stock
    • Contact Consolidated Service Center to request Stat shipment.
    • Check expiration dates and rotates stock during daily replenishment.
    • Retrieves, cleans, issues, and maintains minor equipment.
    • Where perpetual inventory applicable: Processing fill stock program. Inputs all requisitions; processes and reviews all pick tickets. Process supply stock credits and returns.
    • Assists with conducting cycle counts.
  • Shipping and Receiving - 60%
    • Retrieves outbound freight from customers and stages for pickup
    • Creates and schedules inter-transportation of goods between Wellstar sites.
    • Maintains transportation log of all outbound freight.
    • Receives, handles, and transports pharmaceuticals throughout the facility.
  • Customer Service - 5%
    • Effectively communicates with customer.
    • Friendly and courteous.
    • Meets or exceeds customer’s expectations.
    • Serves as a liaison between customer and supplier.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school graduate or possess a General Educational Development (GED) Diploma from an accredited program.
  • Zero to six months experience in supply inventory and replenishment as well as one year experience in customer service field. One year experience in Health Care environment preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written English. Possess technical skills to operate pc and hand-held devices. Possess skills to interact with clinicians and other hospital personnel.
  • Lawson & Mobile Supply Chain, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Shared drive (F:\Shr_data\MM)
